Kumar Utsav

Recognition is the biggest inspiration. The youth can perform extraordinary by a little inspiration and recognition at the right time and right forum. This is the real driving force behind observing the Kumar Utsav every year by KAPOCH in the eve of Kumar Purnima, the full moon day of early autumn.

Recognition and rewards boosts a person to accomplish impossible things in to possible. It helps for greater performance and brings innovation in work someone is doing. Hence if a youth is awarded it stretches her/him performing for a longer period of time. Kumar Ustav is such a unique program that has been observed by the members of KAPOCH since a very long period even before the organization got its formal accreditation. This year, the 16th State level Kumar Ustav was observed in Jaydev Bhavan of Bhubaneswar on 15th October 2016 wherean emerging development activist Dr. Smruti Mohapatra was awarded. Dr. Mohapatra is a well known development philanthropist who devoted her whole life for the cause of physically and mentally challenged persons. On this occasion invited guests, Honourable Member of Parliament, Sri A.V.Swami, the Ex-State Information Commission Sri Jagadananda,……………………… Chairman of KAPOCH Sri Sangram Kesari Paikray, the Secretary KAPOCH Sri Chita Ranjan Mohanty were present.
